There is a linear correlation between the amount of solvent free coating and the size of measurement gap, that is, the larger the gap, the coating amount also increases linearly. With a 80 gauge gap, the target coating amount is 1.5 g/m2. If the local metering gap is 90, the local coating amount is 1.5 90/80=1.6875, which is 0.1875 g/m2 higher than the target coating volume, and the deviation is 12.5%. According to the regulation rule of the gauge gap in the principle of "8 in 9 and no go in", the actual coating amount can be controlled between 1.5-1.6875 g/m2. If the partial clearance is larger than 90, the local coating amount will be higher than 1.6875 g/m2, and the actual coating uniformity will be more deviated.
Factors that affect the precision of clearance adjustment:
1. the machining precision of the measuring roller itself directly affects the accuracy of the operator's adjustment.
2. gauge precision gauge their accuracy, and after a period of time due to wear, resulting in gap adjustment error.
3. the accuracy of temperature control of the measuring roll.
According to the expansion coefficient of the steel and the diameter of the measuring roller, the temperature difference of 1 C will produce 2.1 minute gap error, that is, the actual clearance of the adjusted clearance at 35 C is less than 10 um at 40 centigrade. Therefore, it is necessary to wait until the set temperature of the metering roll is stable, so that the adjustment of measurement clearance must be started. In addition, we should pay attention to the temperature deviation on both sides of the measuring roll. Using tap water and underground water as the cooling water of metering roller for a long time, the scale of deposition may lead to half blockage of circulating water pipe, circulatory flow is not smooth, slow heating occurs, and there is obvious temperature difference on both sides of the metering roller. If the circulation flow is not smooth, the temperature of the two sides of the measuring roller is consistent when adjusting the metering gap, but it may also appear on both sides of the temperature in the process of use. The temperature deviation on both sides of the general metering roller should be controlled within 3 degrees. The deviation between the left and right metering gaps will cause inconsistent glue coverage and roll up and roll up phenomenon.
4. when the metering clearance is adjusted well, it should be locked to avoid loosening.
5. the pressure exerted on the rubber block is too large (for the manually pressurized occasion), and the adjusted metering gap will be changed.
